I am happy to take bookings to speak at conference and corporate events. The length and emphasis of each talk will be agreed upon at the time of booking. Based on the concept of stress induced pain, the emphasis may be anything from ‘prevention of chronic pain’, ‘managing stress at work’, ‘reducing costs of sickness absence’, ‘how stress causes pain’ to ‘how to live a pain free life’.

"I chaired the day at the 2013 'Health and Wellbeing @ Work' conference where Georgie was speaking in the 'Back Care' stream.
Georgie spoke to a diverse group of professionals so needed to manage the differing needs of the audience. She was able to adapt her presentation according to the group whilst giving an interesting, dynamic and thought-provoking talk. Georgie promoting a number of questions and was extremely well received."

"Georgie presented at our Annual National Conference in 2010. The feedback evaluation from her session was very positive with all delegates scoring her session as very good or excellent. Other comments included:
“I thought she was just speaking to me, it was as if no-one else was in the room”.
“The things she said made complete sense to me”.
“How refreshing to hear a Health Care Professional challenge established practice”
Her presentation was well constructed and very professionally presented. We were also very pleased when she wrote an article for publication in our journal. I have no hesitation in recommending Georgie, she is well worth listening to."

Women Centre, Halifax 2011
"Women from WomenCentre were inspired and fascinated by Georgie's presentation about Stress Related Illness. Georgie presented case studies and new understandings about our bodies’ release of stress and psychological distress through physical pain and conditions. Simple exercises demonstrated visualisation as a means to enhancing performance and the wellbeing achieved through positive affirmation. The workshop was given startling reality by a woman who had been treated through the SIRPA method, who shared her experiences with openness and honesty.
All participants learnt so much from this engrossing session and for some it seemed to provide real hope for improvements in their experience of chronic pain."
